Ever wondered who does our artwork and logo’s? How about the creative mind behind Belleville’s Jolly Roger Skateboards?? It’s Keith Whetstone. Shop Mentor and concrete skatepark killer. 7ft Screen Prints hang in the gallery's hallway while Keith has completely transformed the back room into a layered collage of prints on cardboard that overlap endlessly. This art show will be one of a kind with live beats made by Mascoutah’s Walter Conkrete. Refreshments will be in the house as always. Visit Keith’s site for some next level shit: www.centricpropaganda.com PS> Our ribbon cutting ceremony with the Mayor of Belleville and the Chamber of Commerce will be at 3:30 if you'd like to come out and support a local business that sells cool stuff to humans.

CALC2 has created art on stage with the company of Del the Funky Homosapien, Lyrics Born, Lovebug Starsky, Prince Paul, Afro Man, Jurassic 5, and many more. He currently publishes two local magazines; SHIT YEAH! and HELL NO. They focus primarily on the St. Louis Art/Skate/Music scenes and the respective elements surrounding them. Thick with creative visual branding and intense social commentary on life in St. Louis, the projects take on an abrasive, if not punk rock aesthetic that is infectious enough to now have been picked up by eight other markets from NYC to San Jose. Last summer his art studio on the corner of Washington and 14th became the infamous location of the S.F.A.P. or, Super Fun Art Party each monday night. CALC2 is displaying a new series of large paintings in the Hillbilly Bombshell Gallery.

MR. UNKNOWN: A prolific artist/painter/graffiti writer/drawer/tagger/bomber. Frustrated with the battles, wars and often times violence that plagues the St. Louis Urban Street-Art Scene, Mr. Unknown stays neutral and unbiased while working with as many different paint crews as possible. Resident artist with Crew 932's Hip Hop Collective in St. Louis, Mr. U has re-worked, created new and contributed to an abnormal amount of canvases, paintings and yes, even billboards. What's that sound? Did you hear that?! It's Mr. Unknown climbing on the roof of your apartment building headed to create a spray-painted beauty of a piece right above your head. This more-than hardworking and ultra-recluse individual has created a new series of limited edition canvases on display exclusively at Hillbilly Bombshell.
